We're excited to announce our upcoming fundraiser to find *Hereford's Best Beards* on Saturday, November 7th at Big Truck Farms from 12-5 PM!
This event will benefit our FOR Hereford Initiative, which directly supports community projects and local families in need.
How it will work:

The community will “vote” by donating money for their favorite bearded contestant. (Contestant Rules and info below!) Online donation options will be available prior to the event, cash and online options will be available during the event itself.

The Overall Winner will be decided by the most money raised.

Category Winners will be decided by Hereford Zone Celebrity Judges. (Categories listed below!)
Contestant Rules and Info:
1. Contestant must live in a Hereford zip code (or zoned for HZ schools):
- 21152 (Sparks)
- 21111 (Monkton)
- 21161 (White Hall)
- 21120 (Parkton)
- 21053 (Freeland)
- 21155 (Upperco, zoned for 5th/HMS/HHS)
- 21074 (Hampstead, zoned for 5th/HMS/HHS)
- 21105 (MD Line, zoned for 7th/HMS/HHS)
- 21102 (Millers/Manchester, zoned for 5th/PBE/HMS/HHS)
- 21131 (Jacksonsville, zoned for HMS/HHS)
2. Contestant must attend Hereford’s Best Beards event at Big Truck Farms on November 7th, at least from 3-5 PM. (Voting will run from 12-4:30, winners announced at 5 PM!)
3. Contestant agrees to submit name, zip code, and a recent photo with current beard, dated anywhere from June-Oct 2026 (for promotional use and event signage only).
4. Contestant agrees that all money raised before and during November 7th event will benefit the FOR Hereford Initiative for community projects and local families in need, and not them personally.
Contestants will receive:
- Free hoodie
- A promotional graphic with your contestant info that you (or your wife/girlfriend/mother/aunty) can post on social media before the event to start early voting!
- A chance to win a prize pack: Category Winners and/or Overall Winner!
- A fun day out in Hereford, while making a direct and positive impact on your community!
Categories for Prizes (winners will be chosen by Hereford Zone Celebrity Judges):
- Best Mustache
- Biggest Beard
- Longest Beard
- Best Styled Beard
The Bearded Contestant that raises the most money overall will receive a trophy, bragging rights, and the GRAND PRIZE PACK!
